Rio Bravo in Gulf Breeze

Authentic and fantastic tasting. Our waitress was working her butt off with a busy restaurant, but stayed calm and served everyone very well. Highly recommend.

We eat here pretty regularly cause it's the best Mexican food around here in Gulf Breeze. Have tried different dinners and have not been disappointed. Been going there for the past 5 years. Great Margaritas.

I had to find my waiter to ask for a drink and the second time to get a glass of water and another margarita and felt as if I was rushed to pay my tab, 2 hours before closing time. If only he was in as much of a hurry to get our drinks, it would have been great. He was leaving early, on a Friday night and asked us if it was okay to cash us out, so he could leave. The food was pretty good, although we were never asked about how everything was or if we needed anything else. I felt as if the burrito, with no sides, for 14.99 was way over priced

We are new to the area. Ate here for my 35th birthday because the one in Pensacola was great. This location...not so much. The server seemed annoyed from first meeting which set the tone off on the wrong foot. Tables are too small to enjoy sitting at. Asked for a pitcher - got told they didn't serve pitchers when the menu clearly states they do. The taco's I ordered were 70% onions and 30% pork. We eat Mexican food weekly but apparently we'll be finding another place around town. Salsa and beans were good.

I went here after my son's game with the family and it was the best meal I have had in a long time their chicken FAJITAS are to die for and the rice is as good as it gets. I am a huge fan of Chinese food unfortunately all the Chinese food we have in the area is terrible. me being from New England where it's amazing however the rice here makes up for it. Ill be going often. HUGE MEALS.

Went for lunch ordered the Texas Fajita and El gigantes. Food was delicious. Customer service was friendly.

New owners/ management are doing a wonderful job! Food was exceptional! I'm always on a search for authentic street tacos - they are not plentiful here like where I come from- these were hands down the best I've had! Customer service was also wonderful! We will be eating here more often!

It's clear to see the changes the new owners have made at this location. From the portions to even the type of tortillas. On top of that nearly doubling the prices. An order of al pastor tacos for instance, you used to get 4 tacos, now 3 with in place of the fourth a hot dog like water "soup" takes its place. But hey they added a cup of generic almost store bought rice to accompany it. What's not to like right? Its Laughable the amount of corners the new owners are trying to accomplish. Easily one of the best street tacos you could get in the area, great portions, great flavor, and great salsa. Has now turned into another Mexican restaurant doing the same as any other you see. Nothing special. Generic. Sub par. Keep it up guys! Lost a loyal customer.

My wife and I would make it a point to go once/twice a week.....we love the food and all the waiters/waitresses.......Makala, Tamar, "smiley" Nestor and all of the others.....kitchen staff is on point and work quickly to get orders out.......the locals (Marty & johnny) add a great touch and always engaging and make you fell at home

Love the Rita's and the bar here. Fajitas and their tortilla soup are my two favorite things in the menu. Very fresh veggies!

We eat here regularly and it is some of the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. Service is great and your food arrives quickly. The two for one margaritas are fantastic. They are not shy with their tequila. Just don't go shopping after two fish bowl margaritas. You'll end up acting silly. LOL

We have been eating here since it first opened as Toro Bravo almost 20 years ago. We have made friends with the staff and they are as family to us now. The food is always great! It’s a great place when they bring your drinks and cheese dip to you when they see you come in and seat you. Super place for locals and visitors!

First time here but the Torta Cubana was fantastic and the portion was HUGE. Have lunch again for tomorrow. Fast service and decent pricing

We normally done there once a week......the food is awesome and we always leave full and have leftovers.....great atmosphere and talking with locals is fun.....if there is a fault is that they are so busy that interaction w/wait staff is hurried......we had a new server (Tamar, a.k.a. Tom) who had never waited tables before who did a wonderful making sure we had whatever we needed...... great place and even greater good.......well done

Great food! The meats and seafood is fresh and delicious. The drinks are good too. Don Julio !!!! Special: 2 4 1 house margaritas! Always! Mostly busy Friday and Saturday nights. Staff is friendly and fast! :)

They had additional outside seating to accommodate social distancing. The margaritas were delicious and the black bean dip was great. Orderd the Tacos Mexicanos and they were delish. Highly recommend.

Always consistent...ever expanding.. Thankful for this place..Only place to go in Midway/Gulfbreeze... Chicken enchilada supreme is out of this world

This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. I had the chicken fajita quesadilla, which I highly recommend, and the meat is flavored absolutely fantastic! You can taste the charbroiled flavor, and it is so fresh! The cheese dip is fantastic, and so are the margaritas. We got strawberry margaritas with Tito's vodka, and it gave us a good buzz. There wasn't anything our party ordered that wasn't delicious! Having just moved to the area, this is my new go-to place!

Was not good at all.. Waitress didn't bring out the cheese dip I asked for twice until after my meal came.. Got a grilled chicken taco salad and the chicken was not good at all.. To rubbery & tasted like bitting into gressil every bite.. Couldn't eat it..

Salsa served as a free side. Great food. Although some customers were rudely talking loudly about other customers, but the business cannot control that.

Absolutely awesome, from service, food, and overall experience! Their chips and salsa are top notch. They also give you black bean dip! Exceeded expectations! I ordered Buritto al Carbon with marinated grilled skirt steak and chicken. I will probably order it every time! They offer excellent tasting margaritas 2 for 1! They have nice and clean bathrooms. Ask for Raj to be your server, he is kind and made the experience what it was!

Went on a Monday. Not too busy. Food literally not even room temperature. Sent back food......still cold. Would have been great if remotely warm. One Long Island Ice Tea 14.99. Nothing special. One Tito’s and cranberry single shot 8.00. Now that’s ridiculous. 1.5 hours to get the cold food. Has potential. Don’t order a drink unless a margarita.

Some of the best Mexican food in the area and the margaritas are amazing. Large plates of food and warm nachos to start will definitely fill you up.

Our server was really nice and knowledgeable. The chips, salsa, and beans were very good. The whole restaurant was clean. Our food was absolutely amazing. We all had something different and no one had any complaints.

The food isn’t worth the price you pay. They tried combining two meals into one and charged me for both meals. They didn’t give us all our sides and argued with me when I told them they didn’t give me all my food.

We are from out of town, chose this place on a whim. Very busy place, exciting atmosphere, delicious DELICIOUS food, fast and very awesome waiters. We loved it. I wish they had one where I'm from. Wish I could give it 10 stars.

Awesome food and staff. My family has been coming for several years now. They have grown and become busy because of the food and service. Food is hard to beat. The staff is always friendly and eager to make the experience a good one.

The food came out fast and had good flavor. Service was acceptable. Nothing stood out as exceptional, or bad. It was just a standard expectation from a Mexican restaurant.

I love this restaurant in Gulf Breeze. I go there often and have always been pleased with service and food. However, today was an exception. I ordered Nacho Supreme with a tamale on the side. Food was delicious as usual, but I question serving it in a PAN not on a plate. I also had to wait quite awhile to get my check after I was finished. I will return because I know today was an exception, good thing I wasn't a first time customer.

Great food at decent prices. The steak fajitas are my favorite. Drinks are good as well.

The food tasted authentic and it was amazing. I liked the salsa and bean dip but when I tasted the queso, WOW! We will be back!

The pastor pork tacos are exceptional as are the house margaritas. But you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Ask to be seated with Daniel (the tattoos one) and you'll won't regret it. Can't wait to go back.
